1930 Georgia License Plate

You are bidding on a single 1930 Georgia license plate.  I was told it was purchased as DMV overrun and was used as a roof shingle during the depression.  The black part on the front of the plate appears to be a form of roofing tar sealant which did a great job in protecting the plate underneath.  Note small nail holes.  Plate has very little rust and would be excellent for restoration or to keep as is.  Please review the pictures carefully to ensure it will meet your needs prior to bidding.  U.S. sales and shipping only.  Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!
