Hi, thank you for shopping  buy! Buy it now, this Scientific Atlanta Explorer 2000 cable box. There is no power cable or remote control. THIS IS A DIGITAL HOME COMMUNICATIONS TERMINAL. The power cord looks like it could be something as simple as one used on an electric razor. This offers a USB port, cable in, cable out, among the features as well as an additional power outlet for perhaps a TV set. Its clean and in good condition. No pets or smokers in our household. This guy has a bit of weight to him, too! The shipping is extra due to "dimensional weight", the item is heavy and the length of the box has to be at least 19 - 20 inches in order to pack it safely, especially if its being shipped to California. Its very clean and there aren't any dents, large scratches or visible damage.
