    Description

    Token of Stack's for the 1939 New York World's Fair. The token served to advertise their business in coins and at the same recommend and promote the World's Fair taking place. On the text side of the token it shows VISIT THE WORLD'S FAIR NEW YORK 1939 STACK'S  DEALERS IN COINS 32 W. 46TH ST., NEW YORK, N.Y. The opposite side shows a right facing bust of George Washington. The legend around the border shows GEORGE WASHINGTON below the bust, and around the rest of the border is 1789 1ST PRESIDENT  U.S. A. 1797. The piece is made of aluminum and is approx. half dollar size, 29 mm.
