VTG Soup Tureen Cabbage Leaf Majolica Pottery Jay Willfred Sadek Under Plate

Description

Offering this great vintage Majolica pottery cabbage soup tureen with under plate by Jay Willford Andrea by Sadek.  The soup tureen measures 4 1/2 inches tall and is eight inches across the rim.  The under plate is 8 1/2  inches in diameter. The tureen with the lid in place stands 6 inches tall. The lid, tureen, and under plate are all avocado green with detailed bright white veins and an intact hig gloss glaze.  All pieces are free of chips, cracks, stains, or crazing.  There is very minor loss of glaze sheen to the bottom of the inside  of the tureen bowl with a few minor utensil markings present.  The original Jay Willford sticker is affixed to the under plate.  There is no ladle with this set.  This tureen and under plate have seen little use and gentle care.  I consider this set to be in excellent condition given its age and usage.
