    Description

This Item is for Domestic Shipping Only. It is Surplus and is new old stock. This line item, is new in the original sealed packaging & being sold as is.
This offering is for one sealed spool which is 1200 linear feet / each spool.
It is extremely rare and a one of a kind find. Since each spool is 1200 linear feet you should get countless repairs or sewing projects per spool.
The type of Zylon is: ZYLON PBO 273 DTEX
There is a lot of information online that I found, such as: this is used on the Mars Rover & Space X
It is a great superior  thread to repair gear and  to sew anything that needs superior repair or sewing.
Its even a potential excellent survival thread or to use to repair anything that you want to excel in with your action.
There doesn't seem to be a better thread on the market or maybe a more expensive one / lol..that is when bought from the manufacturer, that I have seen.
I cant find anyone online selling this by the spool.
Each spool is 1 KG in Weight / 1200' each.
Here is some copy and pasted info from online below.
PBO (Zylon) The high performance fibre
PBO stands for (polybenzoxazole). PBO is the next generation super fibre, offering the highest strength and modulus of any synthetic fibre on the market.
In fact PBO's strength and modulus are almost double that of Kevlar® (p-Aramid fibre)  high tensile strength, thermal stability and flame resistance as compared to organic fibers. Zylon is a component part of at least fifty diverse end-products including: sporting goods, such as tennis tickets and golf clubs; high tension rope; protective gear, such as firefighter garments, racing suits, racing helmets, cut-resistant gloves and bullet-resistant vests; and cable and aerospace mechanisms.
This thread has not been certified by a lab with current specs as its surplus. We were told it has been kept inside a warehouse as required & out of sunlight etc and we too have the original cases protected / warehoused.  It originated from a US Aerospace Program that is closing down and sold to us as Unused Surplus.
KEYWORDS: KEVLAR THREAD, BODY ARMOR, TURNOUT, FIRE FIGHTING REPAIR, FIRE RESISTANT THREAD, ARAMID THREAD, NOMEX THREAD.
